Frequently asked questions
Do all supported brokers allow order execution?
No. Connections are read-only by default: Obside reads balances and positions to power monitoring, analysis and alerts. Placing real orders is currently available for United States and Canada residents, on eligible brokers and plans, and the in-app connection flow shows exactly what your own account supports.
What can Obside do with a read-only connection?
Everything except placing orders: portfolio analysis, briefs, smart alerts on your real holdings, backtesting and paper trading. For many investors that is the core of the product.
Which regions do the connections cover?
The list spans the United States, Canada, Europe, the UK, Australia and India, plus international crypto platforms. Availability can vary by country and account type.
Is live trading available everywhere?
No. Order execution is currently available for residents of the United States and Canada, on eligible plans and brokers. Elsewhere, connections power monitoring, analysis and alerts. See the availability page for the full regional breakdown.
My broker is not on the list. What can I do?
The list evolves as new institutions are added. The in-app connection flow is always the source of truth for your exact account, and you can tell us which broker you would like to see supported next.

Broker support and trading permissions can change by jurisdiction and account. The in-app connection flow remains the final source of truth for your account.
